Curtis is the daughter of Carmencita Ojales from Bolinao Pangasinan in Australia as well as James Ernest Curtis Smith an Australian lawyer born on the 25th of July 1970, in Yarrawonga. Her father was married in 1982. married Ojales. Jasmine's younger sister is an actor was her father. On their father's side they had a half-sister named Clare who passed away in 2007 from an illness of the heart at just 4 months of age.
